and before anyone asks no I have no idea what the symbols/kanji/etc say LOL. I did when I drew them in, i remember looking it up and I think =koruldia looked at it at the time but again it's just been too long xD
Good job pixelling this! I'm actually most impressed with how natural you make the kanji look at that angle. It's hard enough to write/pixel them at a normal angle, haha. Congrats on the DD, and happy 2014!
The little cat has a reserved seat. ^_^
Maybe it says "Smoking" and "Non Smoking"? :P
I also noticed the onigiri (at least, I think that's what they are. I like onigiri).
Oh god... just what I needed...
a great pixel art, but.. so huge... >_<
I really congratulate you on it >.<
congratz to DD!<3
Have a nice day!
It motivates me to make a pixelroom...
So many details~
Do you by any chance have.. tutorials? :'D
Well if you do, Im sure it will be a really good one :3
Do you mind if I ask you one question on making pixels of people..?
Oh I see.
Well my question was, this:
I am currently learning pixel making. And I attempted to make people/faces/bodies. But I cant seem to get them correctly. How did you learn to do yours so perfectly? *O*
A lot of Dollers (but not all) who make Bases (blank bodies to draw on) don't mind if you edit their bases as long as you still credit them (always required). At first I was fine with using the bases as is that other people had created, but after awhile I began making edits to faces and then to poses as I drew the clothing. Eventually I started making my own bases from scratch, but wasn't very good for a long time really xD;;. I'm still not perfect at it, but it makes me happy that someone might think part of my work is
As for my specific process of how i get to my end point now, normally I do things in 2-3 stages. People I usually sketch out on paper first really roughly (like wibbly ugly laugh at ugly), then scan in and do a quick sketch and shading work with the paintbrush tool (usually also ugly but a little better). Then I draw over the paintbrush sketch on another layer with the pencil tool to create a basic outline which i then shade(again w/ the pencil tool) .
Really helpful information C: *Copies and pastes this in a document*
Thank you for the info ~!
One last question XD
When you sketch it out, is it small like the pixel shows out to be? [You know, usually pixels are the small and cute stuff]
and no problem ^-^
