I recieved a request on Tumblr for a tutorial on how I animate things with a program called Imageready. Imageready comes packaged with earlier versions of Photoshop (I use 7.0).
Although this tutorial was written for Imageready most steps can easily apply to newer versions of Photoshop as well which have Animation capabilities built right in (Window>Animation)
Unfortunately I cannot instruct you on how to Animate in any other programs, I'm sorry!
that would depend on the program you're using and the quality setting or the number of frames the animation has, or the number of colours in the animation..there are different factors that attribute to save quality. In order to offer you with advice I would need more information on your specific setup.
thank you a million times!!! I had to look up the counter part of image ready since i use Photoshop cs5, his saved me a lot of time and effort. Now I know how to do what I love on Photoshop thanks to you!!!
no problem! I'm glad this was helpful ^^. I have CS5 too but it makes my computer chug so i normally stick to PS7 and Imageready for animation. Thankfully though the newer versions of Photoshop past 7.0 have the imageready functions built right in to photoshop instead of being in a separate program :3
