just a question... How do I use this in my profile? should I make a big bg for my custom boxes by copying and pasting a hundred times so that it's big enough to cover the whole box? or is there a way or a code to make it repeat itself so it fills it all?

sadly Deviantart hasn't implemented a way for us to actually 'tile' images in our custom boxes (seems like it would be a good idea though haha x_x). So if you wanted to use a 'tile' like these for a custom box bg rather than a website bg you'd need to first create the larger image (big enough to fill the -whole- custom box) and repeat the tile within the image :).

What program do you have? I know in photoshop you can go to Edit>Create Pattern when the tile file is open and selected. Then open a new image for the custom box BG, choose the paint bucket tool, switch to patterns rather than foreground color, and choose your new pattern from the drop down then fill the image. It will automatically repeat the tile for you rather than having to copy paste it a bajillion times :).

Beautiful backgrounds.
I love them all. but my favorites are the lightning bolt and the diamond shaped one.
