My first go at a BG. Critiques are highly welcomed, so long as they are not rude. If you don't like it, you're welcome to sy so, but tell me WHY and how you think i could fix it. Otherwise I wont get better and you're just wasting my time, aswell as your own.
Daily DeviationGiven 2004-10-29It's barren, it's dry... it's a pixel background called pixel-desert BG and created by ~firstfear. An amazing dithered style, the right color palette and a taste of depth make this scene look incredibly fresh. (Featured by `halfliquid) Comments
 I like the colors. A bit low in contrast, but that's good for a back ground. It needs something in the foreground, though.
 Very nice. I like the colours you chose, but as ~geon-therealone said, it's a little low in contrast. Maybe a darker colour to shade with? Still, it's awesome!

;. So i did that on purpose The only thing I see is a slight skew of shading in the dune on the left. It needs to be MORe skewed-- it looks too vertical, and rather flat with the large area of one color. Hard to explain in words... I wand to just point and say, "See, here." Hehehe. I LOVE the colors and detail though. Very evocative.
 the colors are really nice and blend well. Even though you've been gone for a while it shows that you still have that fucking awesome talent. <3
