I think the "Yes" option would've worked if they had paid for the points with real money but you wouldn't have known if they had paid for them or if they were given to them by other deviants.

Also, I used your pixel rose tutorial for this icon. How do I give credit?

you would need to give credit in the description of the avatar's upload if you copied the tutorial pixel for pixel instead of drawing your own rose :)

But I didn't upload the avatar as an art. I just took the file from my computer. I think I'll just change it to save the trouble. I really should have tried to draw my own.

I think people will abuse the base once they get it.
Yes, you'll see some amazing ways done with it,
but what about those people who might steal, maybe?

people are -already- stealing though. Even after a couple years now people are -still- taking my avatars and editing them to their own liking. I'd rather someone not pay for the base (have someone give it yto them rather than paying for it themselves) and work in IT, than have people continue to constantly edit my work.

There will always be those who care too much about only themselves and think stealing is okay, but there are many more honest people than liars. I hope anyways <3

Well i would say do whatever
but i dont like the new prenium content

CAUSE
Deviantart only gives you 80% of the profit
20% of the profit goes to them.

So i dont really find it worth it
but eh whatever floats ur boat~

i say it should exclusive to the people who buy the commisions <3

80% is -not- a bad deal. Yes DA will make a good chunk of money from this new system, but why should I *not* have to give them a cut if I use it? They've made things SO MUCH EASIER for sellers. I dont have to take a payment or confirm someone actually did pay. I dont have to send what people have payed for. I dont have to do ANYTHING other than make things to sell ^^;.

And why would I make the base exclusive to those who have -already- purchased what they wanted from it? They have no reason to buy the base.

because then Id have to be in charge of sellign it myself. Have you not seen DA's new premium content system? :) I could convert any points i make points to USD
